BIRTHDAY OOTD

Marble Print Skirt - Zara
Sequin Flats - Zara
Necklaces - Topshop & Accessorise
Sunglasses - Vivienne Westwood

It’s been a little while since I’ve managed to get an outfit of the day post, and what day is better for one than your birthday?! Believe me when I say the struggle was real deciding what to wear that morning. I hate feeling like I wear the same thing, so made myself wear a new outfit combination. And I must say, I’m pretty pleased with how it turned out! Maybe I should have paired this with heels, but for a day look & heading to church - flats were fine & comfortable.
Plus, I love these flats so much (see them better in this post) & I really need to face the pain and break in my blue pair of these.

I’m not usually one for such a white outfit. But,  that’s been made much easier now I’ve found this wonderful River Island Cami, that its suddenly catapulted itself into my summer favourites wardrobe. I love that the straps aren’t too spaghetti thin, and the front has a double lining, definitely not flimsy, and drapes so wonderfully.
The Zara skirt is a piece I’ve had for about a year, and it may not be a bold & eccentric pattern - but for someone who rarely breaks out the patterned clothes I’m proud of myself for wearing this one over the weekend. It is definitely one of my favourite skirts,  simple, stylish & versatile! There is just something about marble print that is so gorgeous!

I eventually did have to change out of this as me & the boyfriend had a Sunday afternoon walk on the beach ( & a Saturday one at Dores Beach, see my Instagram) and although the weather was much nice - it wasn’t bare legs and skirts warm! So a swift little change & we continued our relaxing afternoon at the beach.

It was such a lovely day, and was lucky to be given some really beautiful gifts. I’ll get a haul post up for you very shortly!
Before then, do let me know what you think of this look, & if you are feeling the lack of Sun - take a look at my Tunisia holiday posts.
