BLUE JEANS

It's no secret, I love a good pair of jeans. Black jeans, and it feels like they have forever been my go to. No matter how hard I try, I cannot stay away from my jeans for long - despite longing for a more naturally girly, jeans free look. We all know the hassle that s finding your perfect pair of jeans, with so many on offer yet at the same time, so few that are just right.
Now one think I have never done is buy jeans on line. I wouldn't have ever considered it. I'm have an awkward waist:length ratio, and one which has never before just fit under a standard '8' or '10' size guide.
But recently, during the ASOS sale, I took the plunge to buy jeans online. Not even just jeans, but ones which aren't black. (I know, I knowww. This is a miracle for me.

And you know what, I love these jeans so so much! I now have no idea why I resisted blue jeans for so long, they're fab with my heeled black River Island boots and these gorgeous Zara glitter flats, for a pop of shine in the run up to Spring. I know from these pictures it might be hard to tell they're blue, but if you doubt me: I've linked them above.

The fit on these are amazing for me! I do have longer legs (32", if those count as longer?), so if that's not your shape I would definitely recommend checking the sizing of these.
They are incredibly soft and easy to wear, they're a jean dream, and will definitely re-purchase in the future. Despite it saying in the jeans title online, I completely forgot these had a raw hem when I ordered/received them, but I actually really like this style and the subtlety of it.

Lastly, this Zara office bag. This one was a modest payday treat to myself when I was in London, and was very close in colour to the 'Mole Grey' Mulberry Bayswater which had caught my eye and heart just a few days earlier. Despite the girls encouraging me to go for the Mulberry, I just knew I couldn't justify the price tag (not now, and probably not for a very long time. The joys of graduate life!) but I'm very happy that I snagged this popular look-alike!

A very casual look today, but would still love to know your thoughts. What do you think of the ASOS jeans?  I like that there's a pair called 'Elgin', the city where I work - interesting for ASOS to name after a very North-East Scotland place, but kudos none the less!

Much love,
