Moonstone Tones

Metallic T-Shirt - River Island
Dark Purple Belt - Vintage
Textured Printed Skater Skirt - Topshop

I've been trying to make the most of this beautiful background I have right here on my doorstep, I love this time of year when  the fields around here are dotted with hay-bails! They're actually much bigger than they look, too - and take that from someone who has fallen (i.e been pushed) off one. Ouch.
Today I had a day off, but had a meeting over coffee in my work, Johnstons of Elgin, to chat about an exciting new venture I'm away on in the next couple weeks.

I'm moving to Manchester to be a Sub-Manager for Johnstons of Elgin in the two Selfridges & Co, for three months!
Excited doesn't even cover it, and I'm super grateful for such an amazing opportunity!!
Three words - Christmas. in. Selfridges!!

To make the venture even more exciting, one of my best friends is joining me down there, and I just can't wait for the next few weeks to roll on in.

                                                                    _______________

So this was my "smart side of casual" look for today, and I absolutely love this new metallic thread tee from River Island, which is a grey/purple colour and is so on trend for this Autumn/Winter, and will look on point paired with my favourite Topshop jeans.
I'm also sporting my new MAC lipstick in this post - a beautiful, bluey-neutral-pink matte shade called Mehr. It's different from the statement lips I usually love to sport, but this is a perfect 'my lips but better' shade, and for a matte lipstick feels super silky and easy to apply. I will fully dedicate a whole post to it in the near future.

This brings me to a close on yet another post, but I'd love to hear your thoughts on this look!
I hope to get some more outfit posts done before I leave, but who knows - keep an eye out for posts coming to The Honest Type from Manchester very very soon!

If any of you are from there and have any tips and recommendations of places to go, places to eat/ shop - please let me know in the comments below! Me & Ruth will be sure to try them all out ;)

Much Love!
