First off, I hope you like the new look of 'The Honest Type'! I'd been planning a wee re-vamp for a while, and finally took the plunge this week. I'm so happy with how it has all turned out.
Now that I'm back at home, and have replaced the missing parts of my tripod, I'm going to try really hard to bring you many more outfit posts - I love doing them, and from what you guys have told me - you enjoy seeing them too.
If you follow me across on Instagram, you'll probably know I've done a fair bit of Zara splurging of late. It's hard not to when everything is so gorgeous, and the pieces above are of no exception!
The yellow jumper and the necklace were two of my purchases from Zara.com, and it was the stunning colours which grabbed my attention, and resulted them being promptly added to my shopping basket. These colours look so elegant and I think when worn together, these pieces compliment each other so beautifully. And they are perfect for this awkward time of transitioning weather and fashion, and prepare me for the delights of colour and layering for autumn!
My marble skirt has to be another one of my favourite pieces hanging in my wardrobe at the moment, and for the bargain price of £12, I couldn't say no when I say this baby on eBay! Usually I consider myself quite boring when it comes to colours and patterns, or even breaking myself out of my love for jeans, so this helps me add a bit of statement print to an outfit. This length is so popular right now, and this piece is so unique compared to any of the other skirts that I own.
I wore this out to my sisters baptism, and so many people commented on this outfit to say how stylish and colourful it was! My shoes became another talking point, my favourite heels of late, my metallic nude courts were threatened to be pinched from me many a times - which I think is testament to just how lovely (and comfy!) they are.
