Hello my lovelies! 

I'm back! After an unintentional hiatus from blogging, after the hectic time that is fourth year of Uni, I've decided I am coming back to blogging. I'm always aware that I'm by far not an amazing blogger, and I've not done very well at updating as much as I would have liked to - but I've decided I really want to commit to spending much more time working on my blog, and creating plenty new content for you all! I'm now home for summer, back to working and on the hunt for a job now I'm almost officially a graduate, so have a bit more of the luxury that is time to commit to The Honest Type! 

I already have a list of content I want to share with you, and already have some of the photography all done and dusted, so I'm really looking forward to sharing this with you all very soon!

As is required when you've been stressed out, working hard and in a desperate need to escape the dreary Scottish weather - it's time for a holiday! To finally take some down time to unwind and relax, myself, my Mum and Sisters all went on a week's break to Crete - which was so wonderful and SO HOT (translate: I badly burnt myself on the very first day, oops...) and so nice to spend time together. Dad got the fabulous job of looking after the pets, of course ;) 

This look was from one evening when I managed to get myself ready with enough time to pop next door to my sisters room and get some photo's taken together - it was so hot and summery, that this outfit seemed like the perfect choice for dinner. Bright, light and patterned, I actually really loved this look and will definitely be pulling it out again when the weather brightens up more back here!

To wrap up this post, no holiday is a holiday without it being fun too - so here's a couple out-takes from my outfit post, which introduces one of my wee sisters who just couldn't take things too seriously....
