THREAD BARE

I've been absolutely horrendous of keeping up with my blog this summer, the time I thought I could dedicate my time most turned out to be not so. So here I am, back in Aberdeen for the start of my 3rd year (I know, 3rd year! Where does the time go!) showing you one of my latest nail polish purchases. Topshop's Thread Bare which I purchased for £5 (well, actually £4.50 with my much loved student discount) and I love it so much! I bought it as I am really in love with Chanel's 'Frenzy' which is set to be the shade of September/ Autumn Winter 2012, but as a student I can't really justify £18 for a bottle... so I settled for this polish instead which is a similar shade, and at a purse friendlier price!

This is 3 coats of polish. Three coats isn't nessecarily needed, two is great, but I broke a nail bowling so had to file it down and put on another coat of polish! Application is great and it dries pretty quickly, and thankfully the polish doesn't have such a bad smell as my bottle of Topshop's 'Awol' polish does, this just has your typical polish scent, rather than something a bit fishier... :/

But I really am in love with this colour, and it's been such a long time since I've been so obsessed by a nude colour polish, as Nail Inc's 'Eagle Street' is my other go to nude tone, even though they're always fab for going with everything.. and this really goes well with my new Ombre Topshop Knit (winter essential I promise!)
At the same time as purchasing this, I also bought the 'Junkyard' Topshop for Louise Grey glitter which is a gorgeous blue and goes amazingly with my Topshop Awol which I happened to be wearing at the time, and probably influenced my purchase decision - so I'm looking forward to trying that out, possibly over this polish just to see what it's like! But I PROMISE, I will dedicate the time to blog more so will be uploading pictures and posts of all my latest purchases very very soon!

Hope you are all well, and much love!
