I'm so excited to share with you some snaps of my first ever blogger event! To introduce us to the new offerings at Debenhams Aberdeen, we had the new concession Ossie Clark and mega beauty brand Urban Decay let us have a peek at the products!

As you can see from the photo's - there were so many gorgeous things on offer... and the lovely Urban Decay girls gave a makeup demonstration on some of their best products; and I've concluded that I need some Urban Decay in my life - and some coloured eyeliner to brighten up our look for this summer, and the blue liner definitely stole the show for quite a few of us! But how could we not fall in love with Urban Decay with so many beautiful products, and I'm looking forward to looking more into their Optical Blurring Brush (currently sold out everywhere!) since it's taking the beauty world by storm as the new foundation brush.

Now about the clothes; I'm glad to report that summer has arrived with bright colours and bold patterns! This collection is not for those who want to blur into the background, but for those who want to make a statement! I'm not sure if it's just me, but the bold prints and bright colours instantly bring to mind the tribal trend;  and I think this is something that infused the clothes I saw - but definitely not in a daunting, unwearable fashion. With gorgeous purple shades, cobalt blue jacket, vibrant yellows, greens in a variety of looser tees, shift dresses, tea dresses, loose trousers, maxi dresses - whatever you're looking for, there's sure to be something here!
For me, my favourites have to be the cobalt blue military style jacket which is simple amazing (military jackets are set to come back with a vengance) and the Camden black and white loose trousers with a gorgeous starburst print (second last picture)! I can just see those trousers being amazing during the day with a plain tee, and then add a gorgeous statement necklace necklace and heels and boom! You have a fierce evening look.

I absolutely loved getting to meet so many gorgeous girls and fellow bloggers last night, all so friendly and have amazing blogs! (It's really given me a kick to update the look of mine now that my Photoshop skills are much better than they were!)
I think we also spent about as long as we spent looking at the makeup trying to figure out what the canopes were! We weren't sure what we were eating, but they tasted good!
I look forward to seeing you all again sometime very soon! And here are their blog links :)

Much Love!

So yesterday I moved some stuff from home to my new flat for after the summer - so looking forward to living in my lovely new flat! It's so nice and bright, and a finally have a room which gives me plenty room to move around in!

This is what I wore for a casual day shifting things from flat to flat and lunching and shopping in Aberdeen -  and all has been bought in the last few weeks - and all such bargains which make it even better! And I'm loving every single piece right now and plan to make good use of them all, and finally my denim jacket as it's been something that's been so clearly missing from my wardrobe - such a versatile piece, definitely an investment!

I should apologise for being so bad at posting over this summer, getting a new extention on my house and had my sister living in my room for a while which meant no room to even move let alone have my camera tripod set up to take photo's of my outfits :( But since my room has not yet been knocked down and only three weeks till I officially move back to Aberdeen into a flat with plenty room for blog photo's - so it will definitely be much more convenient for me to get back to regular blogging! I promise I'm going to make an extra special effort to keep my blog regularly updated! :)

Also been recently having a major dilemma over what to do with my hair. It's currently ombre'd (kind of hard to see in the above photo's) and I've had it like this so I'm tempted to put it all back to my natural colour (which is the dark brown colour you see above) and get rid of the ombre, though I'm in a dilemma over how to do it - do I buy a matching dye and just dye the ombre'd part because I'm to scared to dye it all over? Or do I ombre it one more time while I can still get away with the trend - plus, the last time it was dyed was in February! Bad Rachel...

Looking forward to getting your advice! What should I do??

And if you like this outfit, please hype and fan on LookBook! :)

Much love,
